Meccore String Quartet |  FRI. Nov. 10, 2017

Established in 2007, the Warsaw based Meccore String Quartet is one of Europe’s most compelling young ensembles. They have performed in many prestigious concert halls including the Beethovenhaus in Bonn, Wigmore Hall in London, the Musikverein in Vienna, and the Frick Collection in New York.  Their discography includes an outstanding CD which was granted the “Supersonic Award” by the classical music magazine “Pizzicato.” They also have numerous TV and radio recordings for the Bayerischer Rundfunk, BBC Radio 3, NDR Kultur, and WQXR.

The members of the quartet are also accomplished pedagogues, leading chamber music classes at the Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan, and the Frederic Chopin Academy in Warsaw.
